636 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

There’s a good explanation for this strange phenomenon of the narrow houses by the canals. Back in the 17th century, the locals were taxed on the width of their property, making a narrow house a great way to save money.
This 636 piece panoramic puzzle has been painted by the talented artist Neil Dankoff.
Amsterdam is part of our range of design-led jigsaw puzzles especially for adults. With the recent wave of young adults wanting to take a ‘digital detox’ from using their devices that can sometimes take over everyday life, puzzling is becoming a popular pastime as it is an excellent way to relieve stress and focus on the present moment. The White Logo Collection is perfect for the new wave of puzzlers who are looking for more contemporary designs rather than traditional puzzle scenes.
As with all Gibsons jigsaws, we use 100% recycled puzzle board, FSC paper and work with the best artists from all around the world. The beautifully illustrated pieces are designed to fit perfectly together; in fact, we use the thickest puzzle board on the market. Everyone loves a Gibsons jigsaw, even Her Majesty the Queen has been spotted with one.
We’ve made some positive changes to our processes, so you can be sure you’re getting the same great puzzles and know they are kinder to the environment. Not only does the box have a fresh new look, but we’ve used biodegradable clear labels to secure the lid instead of shrink wrap, reducing our plastic waste. We use vegetable-based inks too. The gloss coating on the box gives extra protection and the puzzle pieces are stored in a plastic bag that can be recycled by most councils.
Because the box is slightly smaller than our previous designs, we need less room to transport our products which reduces our carbon footprint and means you can store your puzzles more easily. We have also popped an artwork poster inside for you to reference whilst you piece together your lovely jigsaw puzzle.

About the Artist
Neil Dankoff was born and raised in Montreal where he studied Film & Communications at McGill University before heading west to Toronto in 1998. It was at this time that the first digital cameras began to emerge and Neil was instantly hooked. $1400 got him a 1.3 megapixel Olympus.
Neil was fortunate to have the opportunity to travel the world and develop his own style of panoramic, landscape photography. Using a Phase One, medium format camera, Neil's unique approach and technique result in a distinct look that is easily recognizable.
Neil became a staple in the Toronto art scene and was represented by the prestigious Lonsdale Gallery. Over the next four years, the gallery featured Neil's work in several solo exhibits.
Since 2013, Neil has travelled around the world to capture his landscapes. His travels include: Bora Bora, Hawaii, Iceland, China, Japan, France, Bolivia. In early 2018, Neil opened Kandy Gallery Toronto in the lobby of Hotel X Toronto and then Kandy Gallery Memphis was launched in December.
